I was also in worried state, thinking when will the BGV will get updated to 100% in First Advantage portal, but it still 94%. 2 weeks before my DOJ, the HR called me &told that the BGV is done and they onboard me even before the DOJ if I am okay to join. After finishing my LWD at previous company, I joined LTC.

Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).

How useful is having worked with the PE practice (deal strategy, CDDs, etc.) of a consulting firm vs any other one when trying to break into PE? I understand it's probably better to come from such units but I wanted to understand in which ways it helps. Is it actually irreplaceable skills vs understanding of sector dynamics vs pure prestige?
