CEO1 Is wrong. Biden secured enough delegates to be nominated as the Democrats' nominee last week. Unless he dies or is found to have murdered someone he will be the nominee

Yeah. Not trying to call you out. Just wanting to make sure OP is informed

Joe Biden isn’t officially nominated until the Democratic Convention (scheduled for August I believe).
Last I checked he does not have enough delegates to win with a majority in the first round of voting. Per DNC rules, if no one wins the first round, many delegates can vote for whoever they want, not just who the primary voters voted for, including “superdelegates”, and it can become a “brokered convention” where essentially the DNC can nominate anyone they want to—they would not have to nominate the person who won the most delegates. (I was corrected—Biden apparently does have a majority)
On the Republican side, there is a similar but slightly different set of rules, but for all practical purposes Trump is the nominee.
Also, President is only one of the offices on the ballot. Many other candidates are running for other offices including state and local elections.

You may have already done this, but you can check ballotopedia to see if there are primaries to vote in other than the presidential one. All of the House is up for re-election this year so there might be. a a primary for that. https://ballotpedia.org/Sample_Ballot_Lookup
This! States use primaries for all sorts of things. It could be local officials or amendments or local laws. Still vote!
