La Paloma Resort in Tucson. Amazing hotel with incredible pool and swim up bar (for mom and dad). Great restaurants on site. Stunning golf course. Not far from mountains with hiking, horseback riding, etc.
I would recommend finding a place in Sedona, will be less hot there too
The enchantment resort in Sedona is perfect
I’m with Sedona team, but Scottsdale is a good choice as well. Camelback is a good climb. Not too easy so as to be boring, but not too challenging either. The Phoenician is nearby.
I’d add that Flagstaff is where Phoenix residents often have Summer homes. It’s got more outdoor activities and lower temperatures. It’s 90 minutes to the Grand Canyon. US 180 is amazingly scenic drive.
There are a lot of them in Phoenix - Boulders, The Phoenician - or if you want something a bit more "nature-y" you could head north to the Grand Canyon and stay at the El Tovar. It'll be cooler up there, too, but it's not nearly as fancy.
We enjoyed Ritz Carlton at Dive Mountain. Probably getting hot now…
Hyatt Regency Tamaya resort and spa was excellent.
Thanks, I have been there before (industry conference) and liked it but it did seem a bit in middle of nowhere but the property was amazing!
