Timings? Officially 11 to 7. Reality? No work till 6:45 PM. Then suddenly, they dump random tasks and expect it to be done. All-day you sit idle — but you're not allowed to read, talk, or even move around. You're expected to rot in silence.

I'm a fresher and I recently joined one of the big4 as a senior analyst.
I am given sap as my competency, but honestly I'm not finding it interesting. I was hoping to shift to data analytics(python, sql, etl, powerbi, advanced excel... Working with these techs).
I have knowledge in python and sql. I also have some development skills, reactjs and stuff(not relevant to data analytics).
Should I increase my skill set before starting to apply to other firms?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?
