Any recs for a casual men’s shoe that’s pretty versatile to wear to work when dressing down or just to wear on a night out?

Is it a bad to tell new case team members you’re a little more introverted? We do these team normings in the beginning of projects and I’ve mentioned that I’m more introverted to help them understand how to collaborate better with me. I feel like it helps especially during remote work. However, I’m debating if I should stop because people might judge me negatively. Thoughts?

Just got let go and my manager said part of it was because I was looking for other jobs. Hey. For people who’ve moved laterally, how did you deal with the request for references from your current employer?

Have you ever dealt with a colleague that believes in extremely (in my opinion) outdated or even just false claims and treats them as scientific facts? I work with several older men but one of them practices "provocative therapy" as in you just play the devil's advocate with your patient and side with the negative half of their thinking. In theory I could see this working situationally, but as a whole philosophy regardless of the patient's issue I think it's ridiculous.

Small firm (my boss, me, & a paralegal). After a hearing I did not handle, boss intended to seek review of the ruling in its entirety. What was communicated to me by paralegal was to seek review of a portion.

So can I accept the offer from first company and then if second one also sends an offer then let the first company know I would like to reject? Also i am on H1B visa.
