Tips on not getting caught? I have one full-time remote job and am interviewing for another full-time remote job in the same industry. What are the risks? What happens if I get caught? Is it legal to lie and say I don’t have a job when I do? Will they see my other job when they do a background check or file my taxes? Thanks!!!

I really want to get a second job but I am scared of losing my current one. Both companies are in same field, although not direct competitors so I know it’s technically “not allowed” however, this is the only way for me to get that $$ since I am not paid all that well.

The first rule of overemployment is dont talk about overemployment to anyone outside your house. :). Second: always protect the main job. Third: As the main job always has the priority, the Second and third jobs must preferably be contract gigs with not too many meetings everyday. Remember: another day, another dollar.

Currently have J1 as current employer used The work one for my BC. I looked at Equifax/ The work one to see if J2 uses that service, fortunately they don’t.
