Under NY law, if I leave my firm (plaintiffs PI) and I have a number of cases where I am one of 3 attorneys on each file getting a partial referral fee, can the firm im leaving simply take me off the referrals and not pay me?

Considering an offer to go from firm (4 YOE) to become a privacy/product counsel for a tech company (non-faang).
