Updating job descriptions for HR/leadership so I can make the case to promote two of my teammates. Thought some of you would have good insight. In your mind what are some of the main differences between a Sr. Writer and an ACD, and an ACD and a CD. Both subjective (skill, talent) and objective (responsibilities).

I had to do this for a small company a while back. A lot of it can be found online and the doc that I originally made covers every conceivable role except new AI positions... For HR or the suits to understand, they need to see some numbers and bullets. For an ECD it gets a lot more detail oriented and of course your copywriter gigs have changed A LOT. One of the main issues during my realignment needs came from (I shit you not) the idea that "director" in any creative title caused tension with "director" level titles outside the creative group.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
This person is the head of the creative department and is responsible for overseeing all creative work produced by the agency. They lead a team of writers, art directors, and designers to develop high-quality, effective marketing campaigns for clients.

Mor copy specific:

JUNIOR COPYWRITER
Junior Copywriters typically have 1-2 years of experience and work under the direction of a senior copywriter or creative director. They are responsible for writing copy for a variety of materials, including advertisements, websites, and email marketing campaigns. Performance expectations include strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take direction and feedback.

COPYWRITER
Copywriters work with the Creative Director and art directors to develop concepts and write copy for campaigns. They write headlines, body copy, and scripts for advertisements, websites, and other marketing materials.

SENIOR COPYWRITER
Senior Copywriters typically have 5 or more years of experience and may lead projects and provide mentorship to junior copywriters. They are responsible for writing high-quality copy for a variety of materials and presenting their work to clients. Performance expectations include excellent writing skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

I should mention, we’re a mid-size shop where there’s not a ton of opportunity for them to manage other writers (my current ACD has one direct report), so I’m looking for other types of differences.

I was contacted by Recruitment agency; they created my profile in iBegin; later nothing happened! Now I couldn't apply to any positions in TCS. Can someone advise what to do next? Looking for HELP! My last working day in HCL is 8-April. I work as Scrum Master.

I have two questions. I have 10 years of experience in multiple sectors and I have been trying to gain a leadership position. I am attempting my PHR this summer but what are some tips in order for me to obtain a leadership position? Also, how long does it take to obtain another position out of state? I am trying to move to Houston but I don’t want to move until I am confident I can obtain a position in the city before packing up and leaving.

Hi all!
Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?
