Hi Sharks, I am asked to sign the offer letter. It's kind of an agreement between me and the company for accepting the offer and compensation numbers. Of course It doesn't have statments like I have to join the company on signing this. My question is that 1. If I get a better offer can I go and ask them to revise the offer? 2. Can I decide not to join the company? Will there be any legal consequences? Have you ever been asked to sign the offer? Boeing Tata Consultancy Wipro Capgemini Cognizant

If you were to listen to the global reputation for the United States, you would assume it's perpetually on fire. I've been to India and it's a beautiful country filled with lots of beautiful people. There are problems, but there are problems everywhere. As long as you can get assurances that you will have safe accommodations, I would think of it as an adventure. And then maybe ask for a bit more money, lol. Mostly because it's a big disruption to your life.
100% though
I imagine they’ll put you in a nice hotel, and there are plenty of amazing things to do in India. I’d take them up on the offer, depending on how long you’ll be gone. It really does sound like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. ✨
Sounds like a once in a life time trip and you have people like OP complaining

They do have major infrastructure issues. But it is unlikely an expat will come across those unless you decide to go to those areas. All Indian areas that house multinational companies are as good or even better. Just be aware of basic things that comes with any country.
