Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Why not? I mean they can do detailed eyes, what’s the difference? It’s just a body part.

To explain the level of my concern- I am in a religious community and while I teach my son everything he needs to know in an age appropriate way, however I’m fairly confident we will be shunned when the neighbors come for a meal and their kids bring that cute giraffe to show their mom and she sees that.
Separately, it is zero necessary to have that level of detail on a kids toy animal.
If someone shuns you because of anatomically correct toy animals then I say that is a very effective way to eliminate crazy people from your life. Someone who can’t differentiate anatomy from pornography has some screws loose IMO. I wouldn’t want them around my kids.

Bit baffled at the hate OP is getting. It’s a 2.5yr old kid. Giving kids info in an age appropriate way is critical.
And yes, they would see that in a zoo yet it doesn’t mean we all pull our pants down every where since it’s natural and God-given.
I think this is part of the unnecessary sexualisation of everything. And kids are over-exposed to sex as it is with the average age of watching porn coming down to 7 now.
OP, I’m sure you plan to give your kids appropriate info on all things related to this as the time comes. In the meantime if these toys feel a bit much to you then just refund them. For what it’s worth, neither of my kids’ toy animals were that anatomically accurate. And I would also find it unnecessary if they were.
This is honestly crazy you're upset about this. Kids should learn what a penis is and what a vagina is, as soon as they can speak. It's the safest thing for them to be able to name the anatomically correct body parts. If u are upset that a giraffe has a penis, it's time to grow up.....
Its weird for sure. Most toy animals are female so you see the teats but that is about it. Maybe they are trying to have a boy and a girl so kids get used to both?
