Hi Fishes I have been interviewing with Microsoft for the role of Product Manager done with 4 rounds.
I got a mail that I'm rejected
I reached out to the HR Team they mentioned, role is on hold along with many other roles
Anyone know how long this freeze is going to be ? people who already cleared most of rounds will be preferred when freeze opens ?
Please guide me as I've put all my Hopes on this role.

IMHO coding on your own does not mean you didnt take direction. Overall, sounds like a toxic work environment and it seems best to look outside of your company for a new role, unfortunately
Reporting to a toxic manager is an impossible situation. Look externally and best of luck.
I’ve been told that in any job whether you are doing well or not to be looking for other jobs constantly to get seek out the best pay
Find a job where you matter and are treated well. If you’re constantly chasing money you will never be happy because you’ll never make enough. Believe it or not money isn’t everything. Respect and being treated with kindness and compassion is worth so much more.
Get out as soon as possible.

I understand what you are facing . I have been been with my company almost 10 years and never had a bad review or write up. new Manager came in and since his arrival I can do nothing well in his eyes. I have gone from far exceeds expectations to just meeting expectations and write up after write up. He has been verbally abusive and using manipulative tactics try and make me quit. Several other associates have made comments and some have have over heard him saying out loud his intentions.

Time to interview. Internal promotions can only happen with a managers consent. Or at least having faith in the candidate. If she told you that she def shared that with others.
Yes, please take detailed records of interactions and conversations etc. I was let go after 1 year and two months from a very similar situation as yours. Start looking to make a move. You can try dealing directly with the person and ask questions and be clear about your concerns but document everything and consider HR but know HR is about the company. I'm still looking for a job of the same caliber and compensation four months later. Kicker I was asked to apply to the position...
I felt that at my last job. When I was moved to another manager, ever single 1:1 was cancelled up until I was told that my position was terminated really. I had done a lot for the company and now I feel that, since I'm back in the job market, less competent and confident than I was before. The whole time I had that manager anything I said I felt flew over their head and they had to ask myself or my coworkers for help with THEIR job, aka program updates as well as managing their updates for their managers. I literally just graduated not even 2 years ago and I am just struggling to keep a happy face about all of this
Thank you for that! It just been hard and trying to keep my head up since October. I just seen not sure what else I could do
