Mine would be to never be shy about asking for help and guidance. One of the mistakes I made earlier in my career was trying to figure everything out on my own. That wasn't healthy, and it also affected my work rate. I'd also tell myself to give myself more grace and not be too hard on myself.
This resonates bigtime. Thanks for sharing
It’s ok to say no instead of trying to do everything. Ask for support if you need it. Begin conversations for promotions early because it can take time to get approved even if you deserve it.
That last one hits hard right now
Be smart enough to know you aren't smart enough to know everything you need to know. In short, ask for help and don't try to bluff your way through it. Don't try to be all things to all people. If you are 5 ft. 4 in., you don't volunteer to change the bathroom light bulb. Let the 6 ft. 7 skycrane do that. Same for anything else around the office. No what you know and know what you don't.
Now try reading that first sentence out loud five times in a row 😂
Be patient with yourself. There will be many mistakes along the way as well as many learning opportunities. You grow and develop over time so just go with the flow.
Great advice for all stages of one’s career

Don’t shy away from conflict but pick your battles. There’s a middle ground
What do you mean by closed mouths don’t get fed?
Totally agree for advocating for yourself. I let my first boss walk all over me. And I regret it
I did an entire pricing project for a new launch, and I went on PTO. When I came back, he and leadership settled on lower prices to be more competitive. It actually hurt the brand and our channel partners didn’t understand the value.
