What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

Start with CS, Product, Sales. Each will have a different take on the product. See what pains them and how you’ll fit in to cure the pain they are facing in their role or to working with other departments
I wouldn’t rely on a VP for on-boarding. Since the PMM function is very cross functional, I’d work with others from various disciplines instead
Yeah that’s what I’m doing now. I asked her to identify who would be best on each team and that was helpful and showed her I was working to learn everything. It’s just a huge company (5k people) and a small PMM team so I’m trying to find who the right people are and the best resources kind of by myself.
Similar for me in current role. Talk with sales, marketing, and engineering team members. Play with your products. Research your competition and categories.
Most of my PMM experiences have been self on-boarding. Talk to all the key stakeholders and ask them for every relevant doc they have.
Ive typically gotten minimal support from my direct managers in PMM or similar positions. Ive leaned on coworkers to learn the internal processes and the product/bd team to learn the product/product strategy and worked from there.
Also, take stock of what you’re doing to onboard, and consolidate it in a document for future team members’ onboarding! Your boss will appreciate the proactivity and process mindset.
I’ve had a lot of great experiences as others have said by reaching out to the different stakeholders and gaining insight into their pain points. From the sounds of it (reporting to the VP) you’re expected to onboard yourself. Make sure you also keep your VP in the loop so they know what you’re doing!
