For garden crops I usually use university Extension sites.
For identifying insects that are big enough to get a good photo of, iNaturalist is my go-to. But you need to have a clear picture of the insect for apps to work, which is essentially impossible with a cell phone camera. I've successfully IDed some small insects that way by taking a photo through a literal microscope lol
If the insects are so small you can't see anything but a tiny dot (and you have normal vision) they are almost certainly some sort of mite. Identifying the specific one will require magnification of some sort.

One approach that may work is to do some research on the specific plants and look for what pests generally afflict them. It's quite likely you'll be able to figure out which bug it is that way, and also learn about the best treatment to be rid of them. For house plants a treatment with insecticidal soap is usually a good approach, if you want to fast forward to that.
This one is hard because the bugs appeared out of nowhere and it's chili plants a Logan plant and an avocado plant :(
