I own two commercial rentals in heart of a tier 1 city. Opposite to my space is a mom and pop store. I have become somewhat friends with the owners of the mom and pop store over the years and they would do one of favors for me when I asked to take care of the rentals. Now the commercial rental is vacant and I have been approached by a mid size chain for potential agreement. The dilemma is that the big box store is direct competition to the mom and pop store. I've been job hunting for a while now, and have yet to secure anything. I've made it through to the writing test a few times but haven't succeeded. I know I have the skill, but I struggle to even get an interview at most places. I'm pretty new out of college, but I'm in Atlanta and I feel like there aren't tons of entry-level positions in the area. Any tips for a new professional? Not sure how to level up my approach to job hunting, but I feel like there's always something I can do.

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?
