I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. Hello everyone! So my dream job is to work at a veterinary office and I wasn’t able to go to college for it due to my financial issues and I still have that issue. I wanna get my foot in the door of any vet office I live in Maryland and I will start out as anything I just don’t know where to start. I have lots of experience with customer service and I love love love pets! I have Pets of my own and they are my world.

Unpopular opinion: as a vet, I can assure animals can be as mean as human beings, they just can't speak up for you to know. And they also have the power to dislike you.

I need help. I think I’m being underpaid at my job I’ve been at for 3 1/2 years. I’m a full time receptionist for a veterinary hospital but I also manage the reception area (I answer all questions and if someone makes a mistake I’m the one the fix it) and am an in house trained veterinary assistant but can do a techs job (unlicensed) and I do help the technicians out anytime they need and I’m only getting paid $13 an hour while a crew member at arbys gets paid $15 . What should I do ?

Having an animal friend with cancer is not something easy. This year I have already had 24 animals that went to sleep in order to stop suffering. This is not easy for their families at all. It seems to me that the cancer stats in domestic animals are increasing, is this just me?
