Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

One such drawback may be the high-stress work environment, which can be emotionally and physically taxing. The transient nature of shelter populations can make it difficult to form strong bonds with animals and maintain continuity of care.
The work can be very emotionally draining, as you often deal with animals who have been through a lot. Another is that the hours can be long and unpredictable, and the work can be physically demanding.
It's heartbreaking sometimes but it's work that someone needs to do and I'm happy to be that person
It can be a thankless job but that's not really why I do my job
I would add the challenge of working with rescued animals at the beginning as many can be aggressive, this is only at the beginning because later on you will realize why it is worthwhile to continue.
The burnout rate is high in shelter med because of all the heartbreaking neglect and abuse cases you witness on a daily basis.
