Usually you need to come from a target school - so in SG, that’s NUS (undergrad) or INSEAD (MBA); for those from overseas, Ivy League, Oxbridge, LSE, etc all will get your CV picked up for an initial interview.
Unfortunately, outside of the core schools, it’s tough to break in, even if you’ve got years of experience, as this is how they uphold a minimum quality bar. Not saying it’s fair, just saying how it is.
Isn’t NTU a target? I didn’t mean only NUS lol more so that if you went to SUSS or one of the non big three (NUS, NTU, SMU) it’s pretty darn tough to recruit for MBB?
At 14 YOE you’re not going to get in at frankly most consulting firms without a referral or warm conversation etc - for most firms with that many YOE you’d be already a Partner, on the verge, or otherwise in some sort of expert track and fairly tenured.
Seek out your connections in those firms via referrals - assuming you have a clear niche (industry/sector or functional) beyond general project management , you have a shot; education may be considered but again at 14 YOE it’s far from the most relevant bit at this point. More important would be that it’s hard to justify generalist credentials as you move to a decade or more in the space — that’s true for those already in consulting much less those looking to break into it. So be clear on your value add to any of these firms when you make contact
