I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

if you didn’t skimp on your inspector, they’ll identify literally everything wrong with the place down to a granular level of “this kitchen drawer needs a new track to be smooth”
if they’re really good, the inspector will also include an estimated cost to fix each item they identify.
do the math on the things that the inspector identified and matter to you.
i spent $750 on an inspection for a 1200sqft condo and felt like i overpaid. the inspection report was nearly 150 pages long with pictures for each item reviewed by the inspector. was WELL worth it
I second this. A good inspector will get granular and add costs. These can end up being buying credits.
Not a deal breaker but your inspector should point out how good/bad the big ticket items are: roof, HVAC, etc.
Deal breaker might CRACKS!! Now that I think about it. Those are foundational issue and can cause your house to collapse I think depending if it’s horizontal or vertical. I forgot which was bad
okay, super niche concern but let the shower run for a bit and check to see how/if the water pools or drains
And water pressure!
Undisclosed water damage. If they disclose it, then it was likely fixed. If they don’t, who knows.

Cost of repairs
If older house, pay extra to get a sewer inspection. Ours cost $150 or $200 and there was a crack in a pipe and some other issues that cost seller $5k to repair.
Anything with the foundation
Foundation, exterior walls cracking, water damage on the ceiling indicating roof leaks and likely mold, water in a basement.
