The new company I will join is an e-commerce division of a leading food retail group.

Any suggestions about books/ videos that I can access to learn the basics of the retail side??

Im planning to pursue the course "Certified Internal Auditor". Is it worth it? What is the scope for it in Big 4 without a CA degree?

Can anyone offer insight into the annualized equivalent compensation of contract consulting gigs in B4 vs the equivalent FT positions?

Looking at post-MBA level finance advisory role if that helps.

I have a FT role currently that I would be skeptical about leaving for contract work, but I know that contract work tends to pay a little more so just wanted to see if it's enough to consider.

Been with Big Four advisory (GRC) for 10 years. Really tired of meaningless “consulting” and commoditized implementations. Recently been through a rough job search and finally landed an offer with a mid size bank in their risk practice. People say that the culture there is quite political and bitter but I’ll learn a heck lot and get a new opening on my resume. Salary is the same. The other option is to take a consulting job that pays me 50k more but do the same work! Thoughts? Thanks!

Received my first prenatal massage at 19 weeks today and the therapist was trained and did a bit of myofascial stretching techniques. Never touched my stomach. Just lower back, arms, legs and feet. What exit opportunities are available for a financials implementation specialist with about a year and half of experience?
