that’s is true we need to just focus on our job, and I feel like discussions with your new manager would also be beneficial and there will most likely be conversations to see how things are going
I agree with that. Try not to judge too quickly would be my advice. A first impression is formed in a split second, at a time when the manager is trying to figure out the new role and everyone is getting used to each other. Things improve once people get to know each other.

Wow I really like your advice! It is true there’s a buffer period where it takes time to get to know one another and we need to hold off on making judgments too quickly
When I've had new managers I usually take the attitude of giving them a chance. I've worked for people who come along and suddenly want to change everything, and that can be difficult. But if they seem reasonable I just nod along and avoid any controversy.

That’s very good advice! I like that. Try to keep things calm during the transition because it better for everyone
I would encourage anyone to let their manager know what their preferred management style is. If they would rather their manager be more hands-on and communicative or just be available when needed. Everybody has a different preference when it comes to how their managers interact.
