I'm a CTE teacher as well. It is my first year in the department and I will have two of the new course offerings on our campus. This year the state also updated the requirements for one of them. I would definitely say that planning is the most crucial right now, but I also want to focus on creating a positive classroom environment and culture. I am waiting for our rooms to be open, but still have one more training session, and one final summer trip planned.

I hope the start of the school year enables you to build out that course in a way that works best for you, while also meeting those state requirements.

Okay so, I find myself in a tough situation. Recently, my professional license became jeopardized. There’s many details that I rather not share publicly just incase, but trust me when I say that this was over a ridiculous complaint that wasn’t serious. I was wondering: has anyone ever faced a situation like this? I need advice!
