Currently at one of the Big 3 Japanese banks (MUFG, Mizuho, SMBC) in debt capital markets and might have an opportunity to join the Capital Markets team at Wells Fargo (all in London). What are the thoughts reputationally on WF vs the Japanese banks in EMEA? Also if anyone has any insight into promotions (ability to go up the ranks faster in WF) and salary what would be super helpful! Wells Fargo Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc.

I wear my hair neat but pulled away from my face and an outfit with a pop of color. Wear one of your pink blazers. We are all dying for spring and someone may remember you being the sunny part of their day. Good Luck!
I always wear a jacket + something that stands out. Whether it’s a simple suit and bolder earrings. Interesting cut blazer. Nothing sexy. Nothing gaudy or questionable. Nothing that makes someone question my judgment. But always something that they’ll remember as uniquely me. I have curly hair so I always choose to wear it down now and embrace my authenticity. Esp if it’s in person your confidence will exude wearing something you love and feel good in.
I also have long curly hair and I make sure to wear it curly for interviews and first dates ha. If they don’t like it, I would rather find out early cause I am not straightening it every day.
I wore a black blouse and black dress pants with a burgundy blazer with hair down and long but pulled back from my face for my most recent job interview - I got the job!
