I recently got an offer to join Deloitte Consulting LLP as an Analyst in Government and Public Services in the Business Technology Solutions profile, based in their Harrisburg office.
(I also want to mention that I have offers from Accenture & PwC right now, with a good chance of IBM being another one)
The offer was 88k + 12.5k signing bonus.
A friend of mine got the same offer but his offer was 91k + 12.5k signing bonus. Difference is, he’s based in Chicago.

I applied to Goldman Sachs last week through a referral for a job posting that was open for 4 weeks and per the portal the job is no longer available and my application status is 'Application Turndown'. They posted a few new positions this week. Can I ask her to refer me to those or will there be a cooling period? It was such a perfect match for my current experience (4 years) so I'm a little bummed out haha!

Hello everyone, My LWD is 27th Nov and my joining date of new company is 28th Nov. I have offer of 8lpa. I am really tired of giving interview bcoz last 2 mnths I m giving interview and continually preparing,my sleep and eat schedule is also disturbed..I have 4 yrs of exp in .net. bcoz of my low CCTC,it gets hard to get good offer of 8lpa permanent WFH. And now I am so tried should I give interview again or be hppy at my 8lpa offer?Tata Consultancy Infosys Accenture Deloitte HCL Technologies

Stability. It was critical for me to find a job before graduating, and engineering and accounting were the two fields that provided that opportunity; I was much better at accounting.
As a banker I love the aspect of selling… the impact I have on clients is priceless.
The challenges at work with new techniques and new responsibilities. I'm surprised by how much I like this change of pace but it makes me feel like my colleagues are learning to trust me more.
The slight prestige that being an accountant carries, gaining at least a reasonable amount of respect from people who understand what you do for a living.
I'm not in love with being an accountant right now because I'm simply so exhausted, but I do enjoy fixing people's issues and being in the client's inner circle of advisers.
People assume I know what I'm talking about if I use enough jargon. Sometimes just asking "is that gross or net?" is enough to get the air out of a room.
I enjoy problem solving and numerical organization. That gives me a thrill. There are also multiple sorts of accounting jobs. Flexibility and stability are also convenient.
Stability and flexibility. I was able to do FT when I wanted then contracts when I wanted. Now im fully remote at a firm. There is always work in accounting.
