What has really helped me is paying attention to those around me and how they handle different challenges and day-to-day tasks. It’s helpful to notice I’m not the only one that struggles or gets stressed, and therefore I struggle and get stressed less often

I’m not sure if it is imposter syndrome or not, but when I was about 20/21 and been in the industry for 3 or so years I always felt way too young to ever have a valid opinion. That was partially my fault and partially from experience of other colleagues.
I’ve now learnt that age means nothing and if you have valid ideas then they are still valid no matter your age!

I’ve actually never had imposter syndrome. Nor have I known anyone who has had imposter syndrome or who’s admitted to having imposter syndrome. It seems like a strange concept to me.

What would you do if you didn’t need money? I have a fair amount coming one day and don’t actually need to work to live a good life (middle / upper-middle class). I work because of this vague notion of “ambition” and because everyone I grew up around is highly competitive and hard driving. I just feel unhappy so often and am wondering what this is all leading to. Scared I’m wasting my life being unhappy / in turmoil cause it’s what my culture wants me to do.
