New promotion, new (very hardline) boss. First time I haven’t received fully performing in 5 years. The text of the review was very positive.
Sounds similar to my situation. We get along well and she’s been very helpful and always bought up any issues as they happened. But there are certain tasks I can’t do yet, so I guess it’s tbd. I guess I was just disappointed when I saw it. Just an odd performance range. Anyway, thanks! Makes me feel a bit better.

My assumption is that “on track” means doing well but there’s room for improvement, while “fully performing” means fully operating at the level that’s expected.
Though if used to describe a specific project, “on track” means everything is going as planned/expected and deadlines are being met.
Context is key though concerning the terminology.
