But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?

History of my firm: small (7 employees, two interns), was a single CPA show for 20 years. Cont.

Is it bad I am not extremely detailed oriented and often think wow has to be a way to automate this? Often times I need to just keep my head down and work but should I spend time improving processes?

Currently I am not finding my profession fulfilling due to many barriers for progress. I have a strong statistics background and am looking to switch to a fast paced career in management consulting.
