I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

• A good creative leader makes clear the vision and the goal.
• They help build upon ideas the creative teams come with
• They don't force their idea on the creative team unless it's 11 min and they need an idea for the client presentation
• They communicate what does and doesn't work
• They don't speak down to their teams
• They're open to listen to their creatives
• Has a form fitting black tee and black designer denim pants
Strong communication skills. Empathy. A vision for the work.
I read "Raising Creative Teams" by Kevin Frank and it was a great peek behind the curtain into what a creative leader should be doing. Some of Kevin's points validated opinions I'd already held, others were new to me but still impactful. It's made me look at my creative leadership with more awareness (what they're doing well and what they're not) and it has some good lessons for non-leader creatives as well. It's short and sweet—highly recommend.
Excellent advice from creative leaders in there.
