Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

Happy Friday Everyone! How is school culture at your school this time of year?

I am about to head to a staff happy hour and I hate how sometimes it turns into a gripe fest.

I’m kind of stuck what to do. The principal at my school is very intimidating, confrontational, and not pleasant to work for. I love teaching but feel like I have to walk on egg shells around him.

I'm about to start teaching 8th grade "Family Life" aka sex ed. We do this for the last 3 weeks of school, before we send them off to high school. Any good tips for helping with immature boys?

I was told today that too many of my students were failing and to make it so over half of them are passing by the end of the year. Have you had to do this? What did you do?
