Looking to pivot careers. After working in management for 12 years I am considering going to school for software engineering. I like the remote work flexibility, salary averages, benefits. The constant stress of human and capital management has me feeling burnt out especially post pandemic. Can anyone share what to expect on this new industry career path? Is a bachelor’s degree 100% necessary? Or is there a path taking certifications vs full degree?

I during the pandemic, they chose, the higher ups that is to get rid of the title CNA, and also to hire anyone off the street who has no, no experience whatsoever and pays more for just a random person off the street then current workers who are dedicated. Have you witnessed this at your employment if you are a CNA. Do the non-experience from the street get paid more?
