Exl offices not opening anytime soon right ?
I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

Maybe try to reach out to people in your network to see if you can get a referral?
If you end up talking to anyone at these companies ( not just an automated email) you can also ask them politely for feedback.
How seriously are you looking? If you’re currently unemployed and not treating the job search like a full-time job you aren’t trying hard enough.
It’s a slog out there. I’ve been looking since last year but doing it full time for the last 3 months while employed. I have been working with multiple recruiters, my network and direct applying. I’ve only gotten a few interviews. The market isn’t great and worse depending on your area and what you’re looking to do.
We all out source to India now, good luck
If you get the recruiters to notice but did not get offers, it can be how you interview as well. You can try to do a mock interview to get feedback.
I did exactly the same and was invited to many job interviews. Sadly, they were unsuccessful. I think recruiters do not know how to answer specific questions, and they select candidates based on how well they present themselves as good people rather than as good employees. I don't trust the recruitment process—they are just wasting time and playing psychological games.
What is an ai resume?
Employers can afford to be picky. You're getting interviews, which is great, since others are not. You might want to brush up on your interviewing skills. Maybe do a mock interview with someone that can critique your answers and how you present yourself?
Additionally, you can always try to reach out to the people you interviewed with to see if there is any feedback they can provide. Most won't offer any because they are afraid of lawsuits, but if 1 in 10 gives you some data points, it is better than what you know now. Good luck!
