I've been offered a devops role with 50% support 50% development in 2pm-11pm shift but my background is data engineering.

Can I reject the project? It's over a month since I've joined here so will I be put on the bench if I reject this.

Is it considered rude to ask about the salary range before taking calls with recruiters? I keep getting emails about c-level ea roles and they try to entice me by saving hybrid role with great benefits and compensation, but won’t post the salary range in their job descriptions. I guess my thinking is that I’d waste their time with calls if we aren’t aligned on compensation. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.

They have given me the customer, some data and now want me to present how I would approach the situation with their upcoming renewal. I feel pretty good about my presentation but I have also never worked as a CSM directly. When pushing for a tier promotion (level 2 to level 3), is there a best way to also say what I want to be paid? Or do I just accept the pay increase that the promotion brings and wait until an annual review to negotiate a new salary? The requirements for the level 3 include 4 YoE, with 6 YoE preferred.
