Skip-level meetings are more about appearances than genuine engagement. Managers conduct these sessions to check a box or create an impression of accessibility rather than to gain real insight or take action on feedback. I know several cases of gender, junior, work pressure, bias, policy harassment cases . But nothing is solved genuinely. Added is fear of gossip that what you speak will be spread around the corner to Create a perception .
Clearly coz the coding people are forced on functional roles, and non technical folks are asked to code, projects tank and hence the heft bench size.
