That should have been "What is the best interactive lesson..."! I have no idea where the "way" came into play. I think I will blame it on predictive typing. :-/
I love this! We've done some pretty cool land art type projects over the last few years and it's been amazing to teach the students about land art and see how they can recreate incredible things based on resources we find outside. It allows us to do mini field trips to surrounding nature areas, and the projects they've made have turned out super cool!

Our art teacher could just take his students into the courtyard outside his room. Flowers, weeds, more weeds, and more weeds. Seriously, I'm talking waist high weeds. There's all kinds of flying critters, and some pretty weeds and flowers that would make some amazing art.
Not sure if this is the best example, but something new we’ve been trying to implement is having a few minutes of working with others and explaining the concept, or asking a question, something fun we learned. Took a little bit for everyone to get used to and be productive during, but it has led to some great points!

OH, MY! I love this idea!!!! I have to try this. I think we have to get our students more involved and working with their peers. If they ever realize the benefit of F2F interaction is so much better than online chats and DMs.
Have them create their own version of the experience or a story about it.
