What kind of company is this? HR calls me and tells me that I've been hired and shared the whole compensation details. I negotiated a bit and she told me that she'll let me know how far she can go.

And she has ghosted me now. Not picking calls, not replying to my messages.
It's been around 10 days now

That’s how they did to me as well.

For me they released offer after 20 days. Same case for me as well, after salary negotiation, no response.

So just leave it and move on with other stuffs.

Can’t argue with that. That’s a fact.

In my case, after salary negotiations, I couldn’t contact that hr or anyone from BNYM. No proper communication on joining formalities as well.

Simply followed the email instructions which was sent.

Left Deloitte this year. Kind of felt bad about missing the retention bonus bc I still like DT. But I got an unexpected $60k RSU award today and now I’m not feeling bad anymore. Still will always be grateful for my time at DT though.

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?
