I'm seeing a meme float around on facebook today regarding VA payments for anthrax shot related issues if it came from the squalene laced lots the FDA identified. Any truth to it? I'm skeptical.

I am trying to practice a version of intuitive/mindful eating - honoring my body’s hunger cues and not sticking to a timeline or plan as to what and when to eat. But tbh years of “dieting” has screwed over my ability to recognize hunger cues. I suddenly realize my hunger after not eating for 10+ hours and then I’m ravenous and would just eat anything. Anyone dealt with this have any recommendations? TIA

At what age did you stop comparing yourself to others and became comfortable with your own path? I can’t stop comparing myself to others who come from more wealth, have more wealth, and are better looking than me. Also have a history of self loathing which doesn’t help.

HRs have asked to submit documents even before this fitment round; which seems unusual. Is this normal for UBS and this is how they progress?

I want to thank everyone in this bowl for getting me trough the nightmare that is PCOS related fertility issues. After 1.5 years of trying, two rounds of medicated IUI, accupuncture and every other homeopathic treatment available, a vanished twin…. Hubby and I welcomed our little girl on Friday at 37 weeks. I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...

Really sucks how unfair life can be

I have pretty bad anxiety to the point where it affects my job performance and will cause me to waste hours because I'm trying to cope with symptoms. I hate that xanax works so well and am terrified of getting addicted to it. Wasted 2 hours this morning panicking and thinking I was about to have a heart attack or something stupid, then I took a xanax and drank some tea and I'm super focused again and my productivity is way up. Anyone else take xanax? I usually only do like 2x a week.

I do NOT want children. And yet, recently, I’m desperate to spend time with my niece and nephew. I’m panicking that this is the beginning of me changing my mind.

I'm not sure what else I did other than being respectful and not giving flip at the same time but (4) mature ladies in my office flirt with me every chance they get. Some of my M colleagues are beginning to notice and giving the prod. I must confess it comes with some perks as I do appreciate how fast they process my requests/orders which a M colleague literally told me is biased. Hi all. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2 and it’s been hard to heal with the ups and downs of a very competitive sales position in the current market. Before taking FMLA for 12 weeks I was a top performer. Any advice from those that also live with bipolar disorder, or advice on a potentially a less stressful position to ease out of sales? I have 7 years healthcare sales and 1.5 years as a MLO.

I miss music. Like actual bands with instruments and vocal ability. Feels like the music industry is so hollowed out that multi-member instrumental bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and even Metallica are no longer able to take root.

There are a few talented individual singers (Adele) a lot of awful mumble rappers, but no actual bands that will stand the test of time. Before I get called a Boomer, the problems with the music industry for new artists are well documented.

I recommend books I've never read to people who ask for book suggestions.
