Anyone here took the USI localization program?
I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

How many years of SM? At some point you top out and are waiting for MD/P promotion, or industry if firm leadership doesn't see a path for you.
You could be topped out. At this point you should be having discussions as to where the firm sees you (as P/MD or industry).
For people most recently promoted, what was their ramp to P/MD from SM (how many years were they a SM, on average, before P/MD). A lot of firms are having a bit of a promotion pipeline jam.
Don't wait too long to go to industry if the firm doesn't see a path forward as you don't want to price yourself out (where you feel like you have to take a paycut when leaving).
Did you get a bonus this year? At some point, they move toward giving larger bonuses as well vs. base increases.
Not sure what firm you’re at but raises at pretty much every firm I’ve heard of have been lousy this year. Tough economic environment
A year 5 SM holds the cards in compensation discussions. You may not realize how difficult you are to replace, but your firm does. Know your market value, even if you don’t intend to leave.
D1, sorry, I wasn't precise in my words. I'm referring more to the Top 8-Top 10 where there isn't as much negotiation power. Anything below that, I agree, there is probably some negotiation room.
