Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

I have it so I am aware of I am walking into a shitstorm that day at work
^^ Same. Forewarned is forearmed.
I have it but don’t have push notifications on.
So try to only look at it when I would stress otherwise (deadline coming up, reporting from other countries etc)
^this
I don’t have it because my phone is my personal phone. When they decide to give us company phones (which they just started at my office) then I don’t mind.
I don't have it. BDO doesn't pay for my phone, so I feel no need to give them access to wipe my device. Also it's public, I work enough that unless something hits the fan at midnight on a Sunday.. I'm not going to be surprised Monday morning.
I had it as Senior 1 and it just stressed me so much so I don't have it any more. It helps me literally and figuratively disconnect from work and made my life much better all around. When I'm at work I'm 100% focused and deliver my best for my team and my clients; when I leave the office I am now able to not think a out work before next morning and I spend quality time with my wife. I'll bring my laptop home a few days a year in exceptional cases; otherwise I leave it at the office for the same reason. (Audit manager btw)
I had it and was constantly checking it so I took it off my phone and now I tend to get in earlier to avoid any shit storm or check my laptop before leaving the house for the day
I have it, but recently started turning it off at night and over the weekend because I don’t like feeling tied to work. But it’s definitely nice to know what I’m walking into each morning.
I dont have it as I was told it's not needed until you're at least a senior
Just to keep up with the amount of emails from partners and staff
I turned off push notifications so I can check it when I feel like it and don’t have to stress every time my phone goes off
Used to have it when I was with Deloitte. Now that I am with KPMG, I can’t get it for free unless I pay a subscription fee of $10 per month. Didn’t bother paying it, best decision ever. Again I am not from the US office.
