What would you do in my situation?

I’m doing some mentoring on the side (volunteering) to help students break from academia to consulting.

While it’s largely fulfilling, there is one student who quit the mentorship program halfway because he was no longer interested in the career path, citing his own word: “your jobs will all be replaced by AI soon” 🤣. Fast forward couple months, he’s trying to reconnect and ask for help designing deck and case studies etc.

Would you offer to help or ghost?

Where and how do you search for new opportunities?

I use LinkedIn, my network, search key words in Google for adverts and look on organisation's careers pages.

Is there a more structured way for me to do it?
Any websites that I should check out?

Pwc one is US shift (6pm-3Am) while GT one is day shift(11Am - 8PM). Considering more ctc n day shift in GT over night shift in PWC. Is it good decision to drop the big 4? PwC Grant Thornton

Typical analyst salary in London for a Tier 3-4 firm? Like big 4/ACN?

Currently unemployed, and looking at a job offer of around 62k base, small firm. Not my preferred choice but this is the first offer in three months. They also took a month to get me the offer with corona and internal restructuring. Two questions:
1) The contract doesn’t mention a notice period in the probation period. What’s a good way to ask? 2) If I manage to secure another offer between contract signing and start date, would this involve any financial liabilities?
