6 months at the absolute minimum. And you need to win a Cannes lion in that time. If you don't make that timeline you're basically washed and should go work at Wendy's.

Depends on the agency. In most cases, you really shouldn’t be an ACD without at *least* 7 years of experience.
But I’ve seen idiots promote some kid with 3 years of experience to ACD just to absolutely crash and burn and take an account down with them.

Standard level? 7-10 years.
seems like 5-10 years these days but it really depends on a ton of factors
The job market honestly. Tons of layoffs you can also freelance your way to a higher position. You just have to sell yourself at the interview.
If you win awards you may be able to fast track to a leadership role.

I've been working as a copywriter for 30 years and never got promoted to ACD (made senior copywriter at least if only for being old lol) so i applied for a job as a creative director somewhere and got it so maybe that's what you should do too (full disclosure, a little under 5 years was the longest i'd stuck it out at an agency (i got promoted to general manager there though)
