Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

Hey guys, Since I am working in Deloitte and right now, I am working from home. I want to go Nepal for 2 months and I want to work from there. Do I need to tell my manager or simply I can go there and start my work. Is there any obligation?
Note- I don't want to tell anyone. Since it may backfire sometimes

170k for consulting in a MCOL in this economy is very solid. Be happy.

How much work experience do you have pre-MBA? $170k sounds very solid.
A lot but was part of the boom and bust of Covid madness
Accept it so you have something locked down in this market. And if you find something better you can always burn the bridge.

I received an offer of 170 + 20% bonus from a top school. It’s certainly not in the top quartile of my cohort but it’s stable and doesn’t require me to work 60 hrs/week. Cannot complain.

It’s much more about total comp sometimes. If you’re in tech, can get tc to 250K from 170 base easily

How long post MBA? For MCOL that’s a decent offer, but if you’re 5+ years out post MBA, less so. Also depends on YoE pre-MBA and to ((some)) extent, caliber of MBA or current employer / comp.
What are you giving up?
Oh! Yup I’d say that’s a decent offer unless you want to do tech or banking.
LDP? Did you intern?
Yep boutique
About 8 years ago I started at Deloitte post MBA with a $150k base, in MCOL with no experience in consulting. I'm no longer in the corporate world so I don't really know how things are currently, but I'd imagine the base not moving at least $20k in that time frame, especially with the inflation in the last few years.
MBB pays 192 base out of mba now.
Take it

This is a good offer.
Is it less than what you were making before your MBA?
Agreed! More than enough to hold things together
