Ok it’s not that simple. You need to factor in that EY contributes to the pension outside your salary while at KPMG you need to do it yourself. They are also other differences like EY holds tax monies while Kong gives you the money and you need to manage it.

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. 27 F. Work as 1st year associate in Big Law NYC. Base salary $215k, bonus is ~$10k (lowballing), student loans are $150k, total savings are about $100k. 0 family money and will likely be supporting parents long term. Any advice on how/when to start investing in real estate. Currently have all savings in market (with personal investing in index funds or 401K/RothIRA/mega back door).
