Hi Fishes, I have received an offer from Barclays for AVP position. But the role discussed during interview was for Tech Delivery Manager whereas the offer letter mentions it as Tech Delivery Lead. Can you guys please suggest if it is the same role or should I request recruiter to get the role updated? Moreover it would be great if any of you can shed some light on the prospects/challenges of this role based on your experiences. Barclays Barclays global service center

It's not possible at all. I'm have given Fullstack interview in many organisations. Though they have seperate background and frontend teams. And advice: you should go with java. Because no company will stop using java if dozen of new technologies come. But now a days angular is getting replaced by REACTJS.
Correct.. numerous libraries and light weight frameworks coming for frontend but With java and springboot I also think atleast market will be open to opportunities for next few years.
Go for backend
Definitely go for Java. I have worked in both front end,back-end and also few projects in as FSE also. Attended more than 30+ interviews for FSE roles. Not a single company asked about Angular or any front-end related questions. Everyone want Java and Micro Services developer.
If you are very strong in Java learning/working in Angular will be cake walk.
I would suggest you to join Java blindly.
Couldn't agree more.
Same happened. If somewhere applied for full stack.. all they interviewed me for Java and little angular in last

I would say go for frontend . And later you can say you have worked as fullstack . Nobody is gonna know 😂😂😂
But your experience can say it 😛
Thank you guys
