I joined HCL 2 months before. I have around 3 YOE in SAP ABAP. Here i got support project with no work at all. I have talked to one senior person in team and they say only debugging work would come and that might come in next 2-3 months. What should i do ? Can you please guide me in this situation from below aspects :

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

I work as a Solution Specialist (sales rep) at an Authorizer Verizon retailer. Phone/wireless sales is not something I want to do forever.
