What's the most "obvious" teaching advice that actually took you years to internalize?
Mine was stop talking so much.

12 years in and i still catch myself over-explaining. The instinct to fill silence with more input is hard to kill. Somewhere around year 4 i realized my best lessons were the ones where i spoke the least and students were doing most of the work.

Question for BAH - are you able to expense taxi/uber for after hour safety from your holiday event to home? I know most companies let you and so does Deloitte. Asking for a Booz friend.

Do you get the feeling that there is a higher image promotion of women/minority people in Tech?I have seen way to many pictures from major tech companies that promote far more women/minorities than white males in their marketing materials.Wouldn't be better if we hired the best people no matter what the race/gender is?I know some companies are not publishing any gender/race stats but you cant't really demand a 50/50 ratio.Also there is no coincidence that most execs is some companies are British. So this goes both ways.
