Question for BAH - are you able to expense taxi/uber for after hour safety from your holiday event to home? I know most companies let you and so does Deloitte. Asking for a Booz friend.

Lol no

I work at a small tax firm and we were able to expense Uber to/from this year. Some persons had $100+ uber fares.

KPMG stopped permitting this :(

I have an offer for a newly created collections strategy project manager at a mid sized credit union for $95k, 7-9% bonus, and 3 weeks PTO.

I did ask to go up to $100k, but was told my offer was already above the target range.

I like the company and my colleagues to be.

Good offer?

Thoughts on asking for a voluntary layoff (which I assume will help transition my role to someone new)? I’m severely burnt out and think I want to switch careers. I want to take some time off and think about what’s next. Has anyone done this? Any advice?

I am currently pursuing masters in computer science in usa.
But I have 7 years of experience as a Software engineer mostly into backend technology (java) and also I worked as a full stack developer in India.
After completing my masters program I’m targeting for product based companies in usa.
