A quarter of a million dollars a year plus another 25,000 in health ins and benefits is lowball? 🤔
In New York? Yes.
What in the world is creative technology and experience at an investment bank?
Do you do your banking through vacuum tubes and teller boxes and telephones and fax machines, or do you use an app or a website?
I-banking still needs digital interfaces.
Without knowing the scope or responsibilities, who knows. It very well could be reasonable.
All job descriptions have some degree of distortion of pay, responsibilities, or requirements. Everything is a wishlist. They'd like a Ph.D former Navy seal who is also trilingual, biracial, has 15+ years experience in AI, and works for minimum wage.
I mean i get it to the people saying “thats good money” but not for “an executive at JPM” yeah OP is right thats lowball. Not to mention 5 days a week in NYC at 152k you would need roommates or a studio in a shitty area… as an executive… at the largest bank in the US…
Tell them you're not H1B.
Great
Correction, if you don’t want roommates or to live in a shitty area you can just sleep standing up, or maybe diagonally.
