Hello everyone! I recently pivoted from working in advertising to working at an early-stage fintech startup. I'm looking to speak with business finance leaders who manage corporate cash and credit lines for their companies to learn more about your tools and your approach to cash management. I'll buy you lunch/coffee for your time.
If interested shoot me an email me at kathryn@crescent.app! And thank you!!

...I have to be missing something. Most of our cooks have beards and it's never been an issue. They just have hair nets or masks over them. Why can't yours just do that?
Is there a middle ground where your cooks could wear those special hair nets for beards while working? A small compromise like that would probably go a long way with your team.
Rubbish let them be 😩😎
At our restaurant, people handling food with beards must wear a hairnet. So most of them elect to shave just to avoid it.
Your gonna become the spot we tell cooks ovoid pls don't fire people after the holidays die such a minor disagreement I worked at a place where anyone with a beard had to wear a hair net for it like regular hair one of the guys used a mask a beanie bc his face would get all red it's your spot so you do u boss is orders are orders.
And a quick side note. Pls don't fire people after the holidays I've bin there. It's a hard thing to bounce back from
Absolutely Right, Hygiene is very important and if someone is not following in hospitality, he is in wrong box.
If people can't maintain a professional appearance in the food service industry then they need to find another industry to work in.
If it is longer than a few inches they are required to wear a beard net. It is a matter of food safety and the health inspector could write them up if they are not wearing one and have a long beard.
This is some dumb behind whinning from a weak and terrible Manager. From the door you should already have grooming standards established and not be on some retribution bull. If you are new then implement change of over a 3 to 6 month peripd where all food handlers must wear beard nets if their beards are over 1 1/2 inch. Beards don't ruin great restaurants Poor Managers do. Dont be that Manager no one want to work for because they cant compromise, which inturn shows poor company culture. Good luck working the broiler and washing dishs when your BOH staff dont show up and quit or words gets around about you and noone want to work for you. If you are an owner who speaks like this you can do as you like, however the same applies and you will have tribulations. It seems that you are indeed troubled and are in need of Learship lessons because of your post on a site with Culinary and Hospitality professionals about Handbook 101 Rules and Information on Grooming.
