Seems like a lot to be honest, can't imagine there's that much to have to explain. What kind of business is it?
A pub! I did not return on day 4 . There loss, I am not a slave. They make you do all the food expo by yourself.. I’m pretty sure that means I am ready to go.: and should be getting paid for my service
Formal training, never more than a day. But for some jobs they just taught me stuff as we go along over the first couple weeks. 3 days definitely seems off for someone with your experience though
I have seen training that’s 2 weeks long for the most part, but it’s merely very based on knowing menus and allergens in dishes sold. However, I have also seen servers train for 3 days and be ready to go. It’s all about how ready you feel.
