I work at home for a big financial company, we all are connected through Microsoft teams, would it be too forward if me to try and message someone in the communications department just about general questions to try and build a connection there? I’d love to stay at my company and just move to corporate internal or external communications.

I finally got diagnosed with ADD, inattentive type, at 28 years old. I’ve known I had depression and anxiety for years, but the symptoms and treatment never added up. It took WFH in a pandemic to realize maybe I had ADD, and still months of being dismissed and made to feel like I was crazy before I found a doctor to administer the MMPI. I feel validated, finally, but I can’t help feeling grief too over so much lost potential and unnecessary failure, especially in law school and my career.

All the questions nowadays give you 3 paragraphs of exposition without example expected inputs/outputs and expect you to FULLY understand and implement a running solution in under 10 minutes before moving you on to a PART 2/3?! Now feeling like my 3 months of studying have been pretty much wasted, but need to know what to study

Considering that I am foreigner national, do companies even bother the hassle of applying for a visa for an employee without "industry" experience?
